Open Barn Day!

We had so much fun opening up the barn at the holidays, that we decided to make it a semi-monthly event! The barn and barn shop will be open to the public from 10am-2pm (several) last Sundays of the month.  You are invited to stop by, say hello to the goats (and Philip!), give them a treat, and get some farm treats for you and your family! We’ll have goat cheese, goat yogurt, goat milk, and Margaret’s amazing scones and cookies. If you’re looking for a gift for someone, you can pick up a copy of The Year of the Goat, one of our cookbooks, or a goat hike gift certificate!

We’re taking orders for cookies & scones — if you’ve been on a goat hike, and have enjoyed Margaret’s cookies at the end of the hike, we’ll be baking extra batches during the week. Please order ahead if you want to make sure you get some of Margaret’s famous Molasses Cookies with Butterscotch Chips, Frosted Goat Sugar Cookies, or the classic, and delicious, Chocolate Butterscotch Chip. Order a “herd” of frosted goat cookies, and you’ll get a dozen goats, plus one chocolate frosted Philip cookie in each herd! Or order a flock of chocolate frosted Philips! A goat cookie herd is $15/dozen. All other cookies are $10/dozen, and can be picked up at the farm during the open house, or any other scheduled pickup time.
