If you are interested in raising and processing your own backyard turkey, we invite you to come out to the farm on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to see how we do it. We don’t have any turkeys available for sale, but we are happy to share our process with folks who are interested in learning more about raising their own meat. The event is free, but we have a limited number of spaces available, so please reserve a spot through our ticket reservation process.
Note: Slaughtering animals to provide meat for our family is something we take very seriously. Our goal is to give our animals a good, healthy life, and a quick respectful end. Processing them does involve taking the life of a living creature. Use your own judgment, but this may not be something that is appropriate for all children.
