Lobsters, clams and corn on the cob has always been a Fourth of July weekend tradition in the Schatz family. In the past, part of the tradition had always been the late night trip to the dumpster under the cover of darkness to get rid of the refuse. Now, the late night dumpster trip has been replaced with an early morning chicken feeding frenzy. They pick the shells and the cobs clean, and the shells provide extra calcium to help with egg production. And no more dumpster anxiety.
