Morning Goat Hike (Airbnb Experience)

Join us for morning milking and a hike or snowshoe through the Ten Apple Farm woods with our herd of Alpine dairy goats!
A Ten Apple Farm goat hike is a two hour educational and recreational goat experience. The hike consists of an approximately one mile loop through the woods on fairly well maintained trails. There is some steep terrain. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. (Children 4 and under must be carried). Along the way we’ll talk about the wide variety of things goats are used for, including dairy, fiber, land management, as pack animals, and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. Before we head out, you’ll be able to try your hand at goat milking, and afterwards enjoy some fresh goat milk and cookies!
Our weekday morning hikes are smaller, more intimate guest experiences booked through Airbnb Experiences, and start with coffee, juice, and baked goodies from the Ten Apple Farm kitchen. $25 per person (limit maximum 10 guests).

Postponement due to weather: We can’t take the goats out if it’s raining, sleeting, or if the temperature is below 15 degrees F (with wind chill). We will be watching the weather and temperature forecast in the days leading up to the hike and will let you know within 24 hours of the hike time whether the hike is a go or not.
