Goat Hike: April 27

Join us this April for a hike through the Ten Apple Farm woods with our herd of Alpine dairy goats!

A Ten Apple Farm goat hike is a 2 hour educational and recreational goat experience. The hike consists of an approximately 1 1/2 mile loop through the woods on fairly well maintained trails. There is some steep terrain. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. (Children 4 and under must be carried). Along the way we’ll talk about the wide variety of things goats are used for, including as pack animals, and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. After the hike, try your hand at goat milking, and enjoy some fresh goat milk and cookies! $15 per adult, $10 for teens & seniors, $5 for kids (ages 5-12).

Postponement due to weather: We can’t take the goats out if it’s raining. We will be watching the weather forecast in the days leading up to the hike and will let you know within 24 hours of the hike time whether the hike is a go or not.

Cancellation policy: If we have to postpone the hike due to weather, we will reschedule you on the next available hike, schedule a new make up date for the hike, or offer you a refund. If you cancel at least 7 days prior to the hike date we can offer you a full refund. We can’t issue refunds without at least 7 days notice.

PLEASE NOTE: The number of tickets available listed under Adult and Child tickets is the total number available for the hike, not for the individual type of ticket. So if both say “5 available” there are 5 total spaces left in that hike, and not 10 spaces (i.e., not 5 adult + 5 child). We are working on fixing this display issue.
