We've got 4 doelings for sale: all offspring or grandkids of our 2 best milkers

Goats for sale: Who wouldn't want to take one of these cuties home?

We’ve got four doelings for sale this year — all offspring or grandkids of our 2 best milkers, Flyrod and Toka. The sires of the kids are El Roger and Jennings from Chateau Briant farm in Saco — top notch Alpine genetics. All kids are horned (we do not disbud), and still on milk, but are ready to be weaned. Three of the kids are “Cou Blanc,” or mostly white with black markings. One of the kids is “Sundgau,” or almost all black with white markings.

At this morning’s milking we got more than 2 gallons of milk from Flyrod and Toka combined. Flyrod and Toka are also our friendliest, calmest, most docile and easy to handle goats, both are easy to milk, so if these kids have any of that milking ability, udder capacity, and personality passed on to them (which they should) — they’ll be a great addition or start to anyone’s milking herd.

The doelings are $125 each, or 2 for $200. If interested, please be in touch through the contact us page on our site.

It always amazes me how when I surf the net for all things goat related I end up finding really cool blogs and websites off the beaten path! I happened to be searching for a milking machine on Craigslist when I happened on your ad and followed the links to your blog! I enjoyed my visit here and reading about your books. I am a prolific reader and collector of cooking and horror books, what a combo eh? I raise Alpines too and believe it or not, the same genetics as yours, Chateau Briant! Long story….but thats how we ended up here in Maine….come to think of it, goats seem to have led us on many an interesting venture in life!

Wishing you all the best and hope you find the perfect home for those lovely doelings which I know are going to milk like mad!
